The Danish palletising specialist, DAN Palletiser, is celebrating its 50th anniversary, having delivered well over 1,000 systems to customers in Denmark and across international markets. According to COO Michael Christensen, the future looks bright, particularly since the company became part of BILA, the Nordic region’s largest automation company, nine years ago.

Employees Have Been Part of the Journey Almost from the Beginning

When DAN Palletiser celebrates its 50th anniversary shortly, many of its employees will have been part of the journey for decades. One example is programmer Klaus Houmøller, who will celebrate his 45th work anniversary in November. Nearly half of the company’s employees have been with DAN Palletiser for more than 25 years. From 1976 to 1999, DAN Palletiser operated under the name DAN-CONVEYOR, and for a period the company was employee-owned.

DAN Palletiser’s 50th anniversary takes place on 27 October 2026 and will be celebrated both on the day itself and during the following weekend with a large family event for employees and their families.
